BRLO BRWHOUSE

In our BRWHOUSE kitchen, we are in the pursuit of one goal: We want to elevate the relationship between food and beer to a whole new level. We strive to do this from our contemporary BRWHOUSE kitchen.

We have cast vegetables in the starring role. Fermented, smoked, dehydrated, smoked or fried. This is the vision of chef & M.D. Ben Pommer, implemented by our head chef Thorsten Einicke. Both demonstrate with each dish the versatility, complexity and array of flavour which vegetables are capable of producing, showing us that vegetables need not be relegated to the periphery and are more than capable of holding their own. Meat lovers need not be concerned, though, as we do also offer a beautiful selection of regional meats which are cooked to perfection in our smoker.

BRLO CHICKEN & BEER AT KADEWE

Eight different types of BRLO beer are here at the taps – including the familiar Helles, Pale Ale and Berliner Weisse – we’re also offering the naturally cloudy KaDeWe Pils, brewed by us and sold in the adjacent shop, featuring the department store’s iconic bottle design. (And BRLO CHICKEN & BEER at KaDeWe is the only place where you can get it freshly tapped!)

But perhaps, the most special part of this new endeavor is something that you can’t see – and something you might not know. See, for over 20 years – and in the same spot – there was a popular chicken grill that provided smiles and full bellies to some of the earliest customers, and whose traditions we continue to carry – namely the menu offerings from a rotisserie grill – whole and half chicken – along with French fries, Caesar Salad and Fried Chicken
